The Brief: The Middlesbrough Football Club training ground at Rockliffe, Darlington is adding a 5 Star Luxury hotel development with golf course and spa facilities. Our initial brief was to come up with a website that would could keep interested parties up to date with progress at the site. The site should have the ability to be expandable as the Hall development continues, and it would be useful to collect user names so a database can be gathered for future online marketing needs.
Our Solution: After discussions with management of the Rockliffe Hall Development, we decided the best way forward was to develop a blog site. The blog site is an ideal platform for keeping everyone involved up to date with developments, and fits in well with current PR activities. Posting News stories and photographs is easy and whilst the site is in its infancy, it is expected that the site will grow into a real archive of information and become a useful resource.
The site allows people to post comments and sign up to receive further information as and when work is completed. The website is a real work in progress project and future development of the site will see us embedding complex booking and payment systems into the site.
Checking room availability at the hotel, looking at what's on in the area, booking tee off times on the golf course and a full area dedicated to weddings are just a few of the future features for the site.
